We enjoyed a wonderful tennis fixture with Ratcliffe on Friday 1st July with four pairs of girls and four pairs of boys being involved. All the children who chose Tennis club had the option to play and it worked perfectly that everyone who chose the fixture was able to play.
The children played a 15minute match with each of the Ratcliffe pairs. We made use of both the astro and the tennis courts to maximise tennis activity. There were some wonderful rallies and some strong serving accompanied by lots of smiling faces.
To finish off our afternoon in true Tennis style, the children enjoyed some strawberries and cream as if we were on the courts of Wimbledon. Well done to all involved.
