Summer Term!

It is lovely to see the children back in the classrooms after the Easter Holiday. Our next unit is called ‘Never Eat Shredded Wheat’ – this week we have been learning how to use simple compass directions and locational language to describe routes on a map. The children have become more familiar with The United Kingdom – naming, locating and identifying characteristics of the four countries and capital cities. Our understanding of our place in the world is growing as we start to locate continents and oceans – and to put it all into perspective we have had a look from space to see just how special our planet is in the solar system!
