Some of the boys who attend the Friday football club participated in a one-off match against Deeping Community Primary School.
They were a very well-organised, strong outfit and possessed some good talented players. Copthill worked hard to stay in the game and were 1-0 down at half-time thanks to some outstanding goalkeeping from Stan!
The second half was similar to the first, with Deeping having the line share of possession. The final score was 3-0 to Deeping but the boys remained in great spirits throughout and were just thankful of being able to play in a competitive football fixture, which we hope to continue as an annual event.
