We took three teams of Year 6 girls to play in Stamford’s hockey festival. Multiple team entries allowed for lots of playing time to get the girls back into their hockey after a long period off for most.
There was some wonderful play across the pitches. Annabel stood out with how hard she worked for the ball and how keen she was to be strong in the D and look for a goal. Olivia was named for her game play and distribution and Arabella was named in goal for some wonderful saves for her team.
A lovely start to the season with a number of positives to take forward.
