The girls had a wonderful game of hockey against Witham. We used the match to have 11 girls playing, giving everyone good match time and the opportunity to move around the pitch. The girls had some moments of lovely hockey, starting to think about going wide and moving the ball with confidence.
The final score was 3-1 to Witham but I don’t feel that reflects the equal possession and contest in the game. Well done girls, a pleasing first standalone fixture.
