Unpack your suitcases!

As much as we wish it was our suitcases we were heaving through the airport instead of our school bags through Copthill, we are appreciating every moment of being back together.

All of our gorgeous artwork we have been doing whilst at home has finally been put up onto our displays so we can show off what amazing artists Year 2 are!

We went over some of the music notes in our recorder lesson on Monday and it was lovely to see and hear lots of you had been practicing at home.

On Wednesday, we had Forest School and luckily the rain held off and we managed to find shelter from the wind down in the Tipi area. We played lots of team games before having hot chocolate. We also managed to find the muddiest spot and acquired three mud monsters in the process!

We have also been listening to different types of music and talking about how it makes us feel. This is really important as current times have led us to have worries about things. Music is one way of helping us deal with these worries.

Please make sure your children have got all the stationery they need in their pencil cases and even though it is getting slightly warmer, we all know that from some of the weather this week it can still be rather cold at times so please make sure they have hats, scarves, gloves, waterproof trousers, coat, wellies and fleece in school at all times.

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy some family time! See you all on Monday!
