The Nursery and Pre School children have been talking about who they love and why. There have been some lovely comments as to why they love people, including the providing of sneaky snacks in the car to helping tidy bedrooms.
Each child has been invited to make a card for someone to show them they care. An adult has helped each child to paint their hands and print them in a heart shape on the front of the card whilst the child has been encouraged to use a tripod grip to mark make their name inside the card.
The play trays have been filled with numbered hearts and colourful poms poms for the children to collect and count using chunky tweezers. There have also been some numbered hearts to sequence and patterned heart halves to match.
