What a busy week in Year 1. In maths we have been counting forwards and backwards and practising one more and one less than. In creative lessons we have been busy looking at our school community. We have been working on our map skills and are getting good at spotting physical features on an aerial photograph. We have enjoyed computing lessons for the first time and are getting speedy at logging on. In Forest school the children have been looking at the structure of flowers and enjoying the last of the summer sun. We have been remembering the Queen and have carefully designed a wreath to hang in our classrooms.
