Some of the Y5&6 children travelled to Wisbech GS on Wednesday 29th November for some rugby matches.
We were lucky enough to play the matches as the pitches were very frosty and it was touch and go whether Wisbech would call the fixture off. After a pitch inspection, they deemed them playable.
The Y5 boys played a very hard fought match which resulted in a narrow win for Copthill.
The Y6 boys battled well after a slow start and won by 6 try’s to 3.
The mixed Y5&6 boys played a ‘touch’ game winning by a huge margin!
All the boys played really well and should be pleased to have finished the rugby term triumphantly!
