A very gloomy day which brought out rays of children (and teachers!). With a weather forecast which suited the sport of rugby, it was not looking too positive at lunch for the sunny sport of cricket.
The weather was most definitely with us today and thankfully all four games of cricket were completed. A very even encounter across the board with Copthill’s B and C team claiming very well earned wins, and the A and D teams both falling narrowly short but with equally as great effort! Very pleasing to see the attitude from all Year 4 Pupils at Copthill today, both on and off the pitch they were extremely well behaved and encouraging, noticeable by all members of staff. Very pleasing!!
Once again, a big well done to all Boys and Girls that took part in todays fixture, especially with this being only their second competitive fixture.
