Year 4 spent the afternoon celebrating their love for music this week. Beginning with a whole year group sing together we then split into rehearsals for strings group, percussion group and soloists. After rehearsing our performance pieces we got back together for our ‘show’ and were joined by our esteemed guest Mrs Morris. The performance began with our string group starting the show in style. It is amazing how well this ensemble play together after only a few weeks of string group lessons! Our soloists and duetists then shared their pieces from piano, voice, guitar, saxophone and drum kit taking us on a fabulous musical journey before we closed the concert with our big group percussion performance. What a jolly afternoon!
