We couldn’t have asked for better weather for our House kayaking races this afternoon. As the House Captains stayed in the water to steady the change overs things started very evenly. Slowly it was clear Burghley were taking a lead after Casewick had some steering issues!
As Burghley’s lead extended Milton came into some trouble! Getting stuck in every reed, changing direction multiple times and a further few capsizes from other paddlers, the order seemed to be decided.
This years winners for Yr6 House kayaking were Burghley. Well done!
